Professional Experience:

Ms. Brown is an associate in the Litigation Department of Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads, LLP.  Her practice focuses on corporate litigation matters.

Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Ms. Brown served as a corporate litigation attorney with a prominent Wilmington-based law firm. She represented clients in corporate law disputes in Delaware state and federal courts, and defended and prosecuted various fiduciary duty actions, appraisal cases, and contractual disputes.  Additionally, she has represented special committees in connection with investigation of stock option practices.

Community Associations:

Ms. Brown is currently a volunteer with the Office of the Child Advocate and serves as guardian ad litem to represent the interests of minors in family court proceedings.

Ms. Brown is admitted to practice in Delaware and the U.S. District Court, District of Delaware.

Education:

Ms. Brown received a J.D. degree, with honors, from The George Washington University Law School in 2002, where she was a member and managing editor of The George Washington International Law Review and member of the Law Association for Women and Street Law Society.

Ms. Brown earned a B.A. degree from Franklin and Marshall College in Government and Spanish. She was a member of Sigma Delta Phi - National Hispanic Honor Society and Pi Sigma Delta - National Political Science Honor Society and was a presidential scholar. She spent one semester studying abroad in Sevilla, Spain.
