Jonathan Boughrum is an associate in the Litigation Department at Montgomery McCracken. Mr. Boughrum concentrates his practice in the areas of business litigation, government investigations and white collar criminal defense, products liability and commercial and professional insurance defense.
Mr. Boughrum has served as lead trial counsel in the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas and the United States District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He has authored appellate briefs to the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and has argued appeals in the Superior Court and before an en banc panel of the Commonwealth Court. Mr. Boughrum has prosecuted and defended intellectual property, trade secret, product liability and contract actions for clients in the Federal Courts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Texas, California and Connecticut, as well as in Pennsylvania and Delaware state courts. He has also represented a major manufacturer of pharmaceuticals, medical devices and health care products in civil and criminal investigations.
Mr. Boughrum is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Chester County Bar Associations as well as the Young Lawyer's Division of the Chester County Bar.
Mr. Boughrum is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Boughrum received a J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law in 2003. While attending Widener, he was a member of the Criminal Defense Clinic where he represented indigent clients in Chester County. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. degree in Labor Studies in 2000.
