Professional Experience:

Mr. Petroni is vice chairman of the firm, responsible partner of its New Jersey offices, and has served on the Management Committee since 1998. He is a partner in the firm's Litigation Department and his practice focuses on all aspects of complex civil litigation in the New Jersey state and federal courts. He has advised and represented a number of national and regional companies on a wide range of contract, commercial and products liability matters. Mr. Petroni also serves as general counsel to La Salle University and has substantial experience in higher education law.  He is a member of the National Association of University Counselors and Attorneys.

Mr. Petroni is a member of the Executive Leadership Team of the American Heart Association, Philadelphia Division. He also serves as a member of the board of directors of The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Petroni served a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Samuel G. DeSimone of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Gloucester County.

Education:

Mr. Petroni received his B.A. in 1977 from La Salle College and his J.D. in 1980 from Temple University School of Law.
