Our summer associate program combines in-depth, practical training, work assignments, and social activities to give participants a complete picture of life as an associate at Montgomery McCracken.
Both Montgomery McCracken and its summer associates can make better long-term employment decisions after several months of working together, than after a 30-minute law school interview. We offer several programs to enhance the summer associate's professional development. Each summer associate is teamed up with a partner advisor and an associate mentor to answer questions, give advice and foster professional growth and learning. We make sure that our summer associates receive a broad array of interesting and challenging work and, more importantly, are given feedback on their work product. Summer associates are invited to accompany our lawyers to depositions, trials, labor arbitrations, client meetings, corporate closings, real estate settlements, so that they can get a better feel for the "non-office" part of practicing law.
We host a number of social activities so the summer associates can get to know firm attorneys outside the office. Our events are designed to showcase the many wonderful qualities Philadelphia has to offer. The firm makes the summer experience meaningful by providing law students with real legal experience, extensive training, and lots of support along the way.
