Retaliation Panel - United States Magistrate Judge Jacob P. Hart, Paul Lancaster Adams, and Joyce Collier in a panel discussion moderated by John M. Myers will address the developing law of retaliation and whistle blowing and the practical implications for the workplace.

Employment References - You fire an employee for stealing office supplies. Your fabulous secretary moves out of town and is looking for a new job. they each have potential employers call you for a reference. Janice G. Dubler will discuss how to deal with requests for references for good and bad employees and suggest ways employers can avoid problems.

How To Avoid Disability Discrimination Claims Without Over-Inclusion or Over-Accommodation - R. Monica Hennessy and Jennifer T. Nocito will address how to identify requests that trigger an employer's obligation to engage in an interactive process and satisfy reasonable accommodation requirements, including the latest trends in this ever-changing area of law.

The FLSA- Dealing with Misclassifications - Daniel P. O'Meara and Erin Pfeffer will discuss how counsel and HRprofessionals should handle an apparent misclassification of a position as exempt/ nonexempt. They will include practical advice on fixing the problem while avoiding prolonged and expensive litigation.
