Held in Philadelphia, the conference provided corporate executives and their counsel with the knowledge and tools to protect trade secrets, customer relationships and other intangible assets. Subject matter included reviewing IP concepts and how they apply in employment cases; preparing and administering employment policies for email, voicemail and computer system use; proactive steps that can be taken to minimize risks for employees in transition; trade secret litigation, including discovery and choice of forum; preventive practices; computer forensics; the Economic Espionage Act; and judge, plaintiff, defendant and client perspectives.
