Montgomery McCracken partner David H. Marion
lends his experience to Federal Bench-Bar Panel

Philadelphia, PA. - June 27, 2007 - Montgomery McCracken partner David H. Marion was a panelist at the recent Federal Bench-Bar Conference at Loew's Hotel.  Marion joined two federal judges and Larry Shiekman of Pepper Hamilton for a discussion on "Dealing with Difficult Adversary-Tips from the Bench and Bar."  Marion urged the judges present to consider "early intervention" and a more proactive role both in pre-trial and trial proceedings, because a small number of the worst offenders frequently create needless motion practice and waste the time and resources of the courts and the clients.

David Marion is the immediate past chairman of Montgomery, McCracken and formerly chaired its litigation department.  A former chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Marion is widely known for successful trial practice, concentrating in business litigation, antitrust, securities, professional liability and communications law.  Marion has acted as both plaintiff and defense counsel in many major antitrust, ERISA, securities and RICO actions and class actions.
