Michael J. Fekete Joins Montgomery McCracken

Cherry Hill, N.J. – Michael J. Fekete has joined Montgomery McCracken as a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department. He will be resident in the firm’s Cherry Hill, N.J. office.
“Mike is an accomplished attorney who brings a wealth of commercial litigation experience and knowledge to the firm,” said John G. Papianou, co-chair of the firm’s Litigation Department. “His experience handling a diverse range of cases will enhance the services we offer our clients. We are thrilled to have Mike join us.”
Mike advises clients on litigation matters involving breach of contract, breach of warranty, consumer fraud claims, real estate, and restrictive covenants. He has significant experience representing publicly-owned REITs, developers, commercial landlords, and court-appointed receivers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York in all facets of real estate, including lease drafting and negotiation and commercial tenancy litigation. He also appears before various New Jersey Township Zoning and Planning Boards in the representation of clients for various land use matters.
Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Mike worked at three large firms and he previously served as the Law Clerk to the Honorable Joel B. Rosen, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and as the Law Clerk for the Honorable Raymond F. Drozdowski, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey during the 2001-2002 court term.
Mike is a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. Mike is also a board member of the Cherry Hill Atlantic Little League. He received a J.D. degree with honors from Rutgers School of Law–Camden in 2001 and earned a B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1998.
