Daniel Lavian is an associate in Montgomery McCracken’s Real Estate practice. He focuses his practice in all areas of commercial real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions, financings, land use, commercial leasing and development.

Daniel counsels clients on a number of transactions involving the financing and purchase and sale of commercial office/retail properties, multifamily apartment buildings and commercial condominium units. He also helps clients defer the recognition of gains on real estate transactions through 1031 tax-deferred exchanges.

Daniel has extensive experience with municipal and administrative law. He has guided clients through local and state regulations, including those relating to land use and rent regulation. In addition, he has broad experience with asset-based lending products.

Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Daniel worked in-house as an associate at a real estate firm and had held other positions in different real estate firms, gaining practical experience in various aspects of the business.

Daniel is fluent in Farsi.

Academic Achievements

Daniel received his J.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law in May 2012 and earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Binghamton University (SUNY) in May 2008.
