Denise DeNicola focuses on cooperatives and condominiums law and other real estate related matters. Denise’s experience includes the preparation and negotiation of loan documents and commercial leases and residential and commercial real estate transactions. She consults on matters associated with cooperatives and condominiums.

Immediately prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Denise was an associate with Chaves & Perlowitz LLP. While there, she handled the firm’s commercial lending work, representing the institutional lender. Before that, she was a partner with Belkin Burden Wenig & Goldman, LLP from 2005 to 2011. She was a senior real estate associate with Reed Smith LLP in New York from 1997 to 2005. While there, she drafted and negotiated sales and purchase contracts. She assisted one of New York’s leading practitioners in the area of cooperative and condominium law. She prepared default notices, demand letters, motions, complaints, holdover and non-payment petitions with respect to commercial and residential rental, cooperative and condominium units.

From 1992 to 1997, Denise served as in-house counsel and asset manager with Greenthal Realty Partners, LP. She managed and disposed of multimillion dollar portfolios of real estate owned properties and performing and non-performing loans. She reviewed contracts of sale, mortgage documents and title reports and negotiated loan workouts and foreclosure proceedings against non-paying borrowers.

Prior to passing the New York State Bar, Denise was a summer law clerk for Mandel and Resnik, P.C.

Denise received a J.D. degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuschberg Law Center in 1992. She graduated from Adelphi University with an American Bar Association Certification from the Lawyer’s Assistant program in 1984. She received a B.A. degree in Political Science from Manhattanville College in 1984.
