Jeremy A. Gunn is an associate in Montgomery McCracken’s Litigation Department, where he concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on class action defense and products liability litigation. He has experience defending individual and class action lawsuits involving consumer protection laws such as the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act and Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Jeremy also maintains an active pro bono practice. His experience includes representing prisoners as part of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania’s Prisoner Civil Rights Program.

Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Jeremy clerked for the Honorable John Preston Bailey on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. While in law school, Jeremy served as an extern with the West Virginia United Health System’s Office of General Counsel, a Janet D. Steiger Fellow with the Office of the West Virginia Attorney General, a summer intern with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and a summer associate with the firms of Spilman Thomas & Battle and Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough.

Academic Achievements

Jeremy received a J.D. degree from the West Virginia University College of Law, where he was a member of the Order of Barristers, a W.E.B. DuBois Fellowship recipient, and a mediator for the West Virginia Magistrate Court. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from Vanderbilt University.
