John W. Frazier, IV is of counsel at Montgomery McCracken. His practice emphasizes products liability defense and the defense of accountants in malpractice and securities fraud actions. In addition to working on numerous complex cases over the years, a number of which have involved class action allegations, John has had experience in the coordination of discovery on a national basis in complex products liability litigation. He has served as vice chair and a co-chair of the Firm’s Litigation Department and has been a member of the Firm’s Management Committee.

  • John has been a guest lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania on the subject of the litigation crisis and tort reform
  • Frazier has lectured to members of the bar on attorney malpractice prevention, and to management representatives on planning for products liability lawsuits, how to deal with them and how to the settle them

Academic Achievements

A graduate of Princeton University, John earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1965. He received his LL.B. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1968. After graduation, he served on active duty for about four years in the United States Naval Reserve as a Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
