Joseph M. Donegan has more than 25 years of experience practicing virtually all areas of business and corporate law. He has experience providing a broad range of services from general counsel functions to litigation and transactional representation, including strategic planning, business formation and succession, sales/purchases, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, complex commercial leasing, financing, licensing, employment and contracts. Joe represents both public and privately held companies as well as individuals and nonprofit organizations. He serves as outside general counsel to a diverse range of industries, including health care providers, banks, employee staffing, franchises and food product development companies (flavor manufacturers).

Joe also practices in the area of estate planning and trust and estate administration. In this regard, he plans and implements the inter-generational transfer of family wealth, including family business interests; the reduction of gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer taxes; estate liquidity needs and charitable gifts and bequests. He has extensive experience drafting and reviewing various estate planning documents and administering numerous estates and trusts.
