Biography

Stephen G. Rhoads is a partner in Montgomery McCracken’s Litigation Department and Co-Chair of the firm’s Insurance Recovery Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, property damage and disability income insurance claims, construction disputes, commercial litigation, marine terminal, cargo and shipping liability, and advising educational and non-profit institutions on risk-management.

Stephen works on a wide variety of commercial disputes involving construction, employment, contract, shareholder, insurance coverage, and other business disputes. He dedicates a substantial portion of his practice to complex construction and payment disputes for commercial and residential builders, design professionals, and for residential and commercial property owners. An advocate of alternative dispute resolution, he has successfully resolved various claims through arbitration and mediation in federal and state courts and through the American Arbitration Association.
