Montgomery McCracken has an immediate open position for a Automated Litigation Support Analyst. The position is in our Philadelphia office.

Job Description:

  • The Automated Litigation Support Analyst’s responsibilities will be to provide operational and technical support of various eDiscovery and other litigation related software to the firm’s attorneys and paralegals.
  • Primary duties will be determining and executing the requirements for the collection, processing, loading for attorney review and production of electronic or scanned documents. This may include liaising with vendors for volume processing or scanning, managing the litigation support review for the attorneys and providing advice and recommendations on best practices as they relate to the Electronic Data Reference Model (EDRM).
  • The individual will also provide on-demand software training and assistance as needed, maintain and troubleshoot the litigation support applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with the processing and management of eDiscovery data throughout the litigation lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with one or more eDiscovery platforms such as Eclipse, Concordance, IPRO, and hosted platforms such as Relativity.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Build and support IPRO Eclipse SE eDiscovery databases. Process/Scan/Import/Export data; create reports; understand review tools such as tagging, Boolean searching and validation lists, etc; assist users with searching and strategies for reviewing documents; OCR documents; generate Productions. Administer projects, groups and users.
  • Build and support Case Notebook projects. Load transcripts & linked exhibits; work with paralegals and court reporters so that transcripts are delivered in correct format; assist users with searching, annotating, reporting etc.  Administer cases, groups and users.
  • Build and support CaseMap/TimeMap databases and presentations. Administer users.
  • Light programming. The programming will mostly center around data parsing and text manipulation using functions in Excel or SQL.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro.
  • Audio/Video file editing.
  • Build and support Sanction databases/presentations. Understand all tools within the application.  Load data; treat documents when required.   Work directly with attorneys regarding ultimate presentation.
  • Support of Concordance and IPRO Classic Suite legacy databases.

Required Experience, Licenses, Certifications, Abilities or Knowledge: 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Must be highly professional, discreet and impartial.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including effective writing and verbal skills.

Minimum Educational Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
