DESCRIPTION:Montgomery McCracken’s Institutional Response and Sexual Misconduct Liability attorneys Ashley R. Lynam and Kacie E. Kergides will present during a webinar titled\, “Interested Persons’ Symposium: The Role of the University in the Title IX Rulemaking Process.” The informative webinar will review lessons learned during the past year of investigating\, adjudicating\, and advising in Title IX. The discussion will include: \n\nTitle IX under Trump-era rules\nAnticipated Biden Administration changes following his March 8\, 2021 Executive Order\nAn overview of the federal rulemaking process\n\nFollowing the discussion\, attendees will have the opportunity to share thoughts\, ideas\, and concerns in breakout rooms in preparation of formulating thoughtful Interested Persons submissions for public comment. \nThis program is open to Montgomery McCracken clients and prospective clients.
