Although President Barack Obama’s executive action on immigration contains nothing directly pertaining to lesser-skilled foreign workers, the action does have implications for their employers, practitioners said Dec. 3.

“Notice what’s missing” from the president’s action, ImmigrationWorks USA President and Chief Executive Officer Tamar Jacosaid during a teleconference sponsored the organization, which advocates for an immigration overhaul on behalf of small and mid-sized businesses.
