Fed. Circ. Pick Among Biden’s Latest Judicial Choices

President Joe Biden unveiled nine new federal judicial nominees Wednesday, including his second nominee for the Federal Circuit and district judge picks for California, Maryland, New Jersey and Nevada.


Georgette Castner is one of two nominees to the District of New Jersey. She has been a partner at Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP since 2015 and was previously an associate at the firm, where she’s worked since 2007. She’s a member of the litigation practice group and the firm’s diversity committee. Evelyn Padin is Biden’s second nominee to the District of New Jersey. She is the senior managing partner at a law practice she founded in 1995, focusing on family law and civil litigation. She previously served as president of the New Jersey Bar Association and as a trustee to the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey.
