“As an AUSA, I learned the in and outs of a criminal case and how to build investigations. That will be invaluable experience when I’m representing clients facing criminal charges,” Pierre-Louis said. “Although it’s a different position, I have familiarity with the subject matter, with the judges, the prosecution, and even other members of the defense bar. I know my background will make a transition back to private practice a smooth one.”

“It’s amazing it was nine years ago that I left here because it never really felt that way.  I felt connected through Montgomery McCracken alumni events and professional events and associations. That also gave me opportunity to meet the new faces, so coming back was very natural because it never really felt like I was disconnected from the folks here,” said Pierre-Louis. “And I’ve been really encouraged [by seeing] a lot of former attorneys return to the firm. I think that speaks volumes about Montgomery McCracken.”
