Montgomery McCracken’s White Collar Team Adds Prosecutor

After nearly a decade as a prosecutor with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Philadelphia, A. Nicole Phillips has joined the ranks of Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP as a partner in the firm’s white collar and government investigations group.

“I’ve grown a lot as a litigator and an attorney in general, and I thought it was a good time to transition and to expand my practice into another arena,” she said. “I’ve always heard positive things about the strengths of the firm, and so I thought that Montgomery McCracken would be a good fit for my personality and a good place to bring my knowledge base.”

As a federal prosecutor, Phillips served as a member of the narcotics unit, where she handled drug trafficking cases, but said she had eagerly taken on opportunities over the years to handle public corruption, tax and bank fraud matters, as well.

“The way the office is structured is you were kind of housed in a particular unit, but we would be asked as needed to handle cases if we were available to take them on,” she said. “I jumped at the opportunity to expand my experience and knowledge base.”
