US entities of collapsed Danish bunkers supplier begin to chase owners over unpaid bills

The US subsidiaries of collapsed OW Bunker have begun filing ship-arrest cases in federal courts, going on the attack for the first time in the vessel-seizure spree over who should be paid for the Danish giant’s unpaid bunker bills.

OW Bunker USA and OW Bunker North America have filed at least two lawsuits garnering orders to arrest vessels, following efforts physical suppliers to seize several ships, whose operators allegedly owed cash at the time the OW parent company filed for liquidation in early November last year.

Montgomery McCracken attorneys Robert O’Connor and Timothy Semenoro are mentioned.
