September 13, 2012

Montgomery McCracken and its Diversity Committee recently presented “A Conversation About Bullying,” a discussion with Melissa Wheatcroft, Esq., formerly the general counsel and vice president of Program Operations of Bancroft.  In an interactive program moderated by Richard L. Scheff, chairman of Montgomery McCracken, Ms. Wheatcroft discussed the warning signs that a child has been bullied, suggested strategies for bullied children and their parents, and the statistics concerning the likelihood of a bully to commit serious crime as an adult and/or to be incarcerated. Ms. Wheatcroft discussed with the over 100 participants policies and procedures that schools are implementing to meet this epidemic head-on.  Pictured left to right: R.
