CHERRY HILL, NEW JERSEY – Montgomery McCracken is pleased to announce Alexandra S. Jacobs has been appointed to the board of directors of Kids Alley. Kids Alley is the main program of One Accord Inc., a nonprofit ethics based organization that reaches out to inner-city children and their families with weekly programs. The organization, which was founded in 1998, provides educational and community support to at-risk children in Camden, New Jersey and surrounding communities.
Jacobs is an attorney in Montgomery McCracken’s Cherry Hill office and is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. She has broad experience in a range of areas including transportation law, UM/UIM insurance defense, e-discovery, education law, class action and multidistrict litigation. Jacobs has handled civil and criminal matters involving Section 1983, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act.
Jacobs received a J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden in 2014. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the Rutgers Law Journal and a member of the Children’s Justice Clinic and the Pro Bono Mediation Project. Jacobs earned a B.A. degree, cum laude, from American University, School of Public Affairs, where she majored in Communications, Law, Economics, and Government.
