Carmon M. Popler Rejoins Montgomery McCracken

PHILADELPHIA, PA – May 1, 2018 – Montgomery McCracken is pleased to announce that Carmon M. Popler (née Harvey) has rejoined the firm as a partner in its Labor and Employment practice in the firm’s Cherry Hill office. Prior to rejoining Montgomery McCracken, Popler served as co-leader of LeClairRyan’s Labor and Employment practice group and as office leader for the firm’s Philadelphia office.

Chernak, chair of Montgomery McCracken’s Labor and Employment practice. “Carmon is an excellent trial attorney who will strengthen our growing Labor and Employment practice through her significant experience and institutional knowledge of our client base.”
Popler focuses her practice on employment litigation and counseling, including wage and hour issues, hiring, firing, employee discipline, federal and state discrimination laws, sexual and other prohibited harassment, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN), and trade secrets and non-compete agreements.
She also counsels institutions of higher education regarding faculty, student, administrative, and compliance matters, including faculty promotion and tenure proceedings, Title IX compliance, and university and faculty policies and procedures.
Popler also regularly counsels clients regarding commercial disputes and handles a broad array of commercial litigation.
Popler graduated, cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law, and received a B.A. in Political Science (with distinction) and in Philosophy, magna cum laude, from Creighton University. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.
