Montgomery McCracken partner Catherine H. Gillespie was a speaker at Cabrini College where she presented to faculty and staff on post-secondary students and the Americans with Disabilities Act.  The presentation focused on the definition of disability, the process for requesting a reasonable accommodation, and government enforcement.

The chair of the firm’s Higher Education practice, Gillespie focuses her practice on higher education law, healthcare, corporate and tax law issues generally affecting nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations. Her work with colleges and universities includes advice on the interpretation of and implementation of FERPA, the Clery Act, HIPAA and the Americans with Disabilities Act, contracts; compliance with federal and state regulations; real estate tax and other exemption issues.

Gillespie speaks and writes regularly on issues affecting her clients.  She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
