Montgomery McCracken volunteers support Cradles to Crayons and the Homeless Advocacy Project as part of its Martin Luther King Day Service Projects

Montgomery McCracken took part in Martin Luther King Day Service Projects on Friday, Jan. 13 and on Monday, Jan. 16.  A firm-wide collection drive gathered much-needed donations , including children’s clothing,  baby supplies, toys and school supplies for Cradles to Crayons, an organization founded in 2002, with the mission of providing to children ages 0 to 12 some of the most important basics of life-free of charge.   On Friday, volunteers from the firm sorted through all Cradle to Crayons donations and created care packages for the children.

On Monday, a group of lawyers, paralegals and staff assisted clients at a legal clinic co-sponsored by the Homeless Advocacy Project and held at the Druedling Center, a transitional housing program for homeless women and their children.
