NEW YORK – Montgomery McCracken is pleased to announce that partner Joseph M. Donegan has been selected as a final nominee for the inaugural Big Apple Entrepreneur Awards. He was nominated for the Attorney category, in recognition of his exemplary work to support some of the most innovative companies based in NYC. The Big Apple Entrepreneur Awards were created in 2016 by Manhattan magazine in partnership with the Big Apple Entrepreneur Network to identify, recognize and celebrate up to 20 of the top NYC-based entrepreneurs and professionals. Joe and other nominees will be recognized on May 17th, 2016 at the Big Apple CEO Mixer.

Joe has more than 25 years of experience practicing virtually all areas of business and corporate law, including forming and organizing new business entities, counseling clients on seeking capital from private investors, structuring complex commercial and corporate transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. His extensive business and financial background enables him to provide comprehensive counseling to individuals, closely held businesses, and nonprofit organizations across a wide variety of industries. His practice also focuses on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and estate litigation.

Joe received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1987, where he was a member of Law Review, The Delaware Journal of Corporate Law. He graduated from Pace University with a B.B.A. in Accounting in 1983.
