Montgomery McCracken Adds Of Counsel Erin A. Novak in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA – Montgomery McCracken is pleased to announce the addition of Erin A. Novak to its Litigation Department. Novak will serve as of counsel in the firm’s Philadelphia office. She focuses her practice on consumer litigation. Novak has been counsel of record in more than three hundred cases involving Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act claims in courts throughout the country.

She has obtained favorable decisions for her clients in matters involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Pennsylvania Fair Credit Extension Uniformity Act and the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practices Consumer Protection Law. In addition, Novak is certified as a Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Arbitrator and as a Better Business Bureau Arbitrator.

Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Novak was an attorney for a consumer protection litigation firm. She also previously worked at a plaintiff’s personal injury litigation firm, where she handled product liability matters, medical malpractice and crashworthiness actions across New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Novak is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association. She received a J.D. degree with a concentration in Litigation from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2005 and earned a B.A. degree in Philosophy from Michigan State University in 2000.
