Montgomery McCracken Adds Four Attorneys and One Law Clerk to New York Real Estate Team

Montgomery McCracken is pleased to announce the addition of four attorneys and one law clerk from the New York-based firm Mishaan Dayon & Lieblich. The group brings substantial experience in the fields of commercial and real estate law and associated transactions and litigation. Saul A. Mishaan and Jeffery D. Dayon will join as partners; Mr. Dayon will also serve as Chair of the Firm’s Commercial Leasing and Development Practice Group.  Matthew A. Bondy will join as of counsel; Daniel Lavian will join as an associate; and Abraham Ally Dayon will join as a law clerk.

Saul A. Mishaan has practiced for over 35 years focusing his practice on all types of commercial and real estate matters, including complex leasing transactions.  Mr. Mishaan also has extensive experience with the licensing and transfer of intellectual property on behalf of numerous licensees and licensors for both major and minor marks. His practice includes complex real estate and commercial litigation (in state and federal court), including, partnership/shareholder/member and contract disputes, trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property related disputes.

Jeffery D. Dayon brings over 30 years of experience advising private lenders, small and large privately held real estate operating companies, investors and high wealth individuals on planning, structuring and executing highly complex real estate and corporate transactions, commercial leasing, and sophisticated financing transactions including securitized mortgages, multi-tranche mezzanine loans and preferred equity transactions. Mr. Dayon also counsels his clients on investments in real property, and advises on issues of appropriate form of organization, business plans, stockholder, partnership and operating agreements, commercial transactions, joint ventures agreements, tenancies in common and other strategic partnerships, restructurings, workouts, and dispute resolution.

Matthew A. Bondy focuses his practice on commercial litigation, real estate finance, and commercial leasing. He is an experienced trial lawyer, with a broad range of litigation experience in the state and federal courts, as well as alternate dispute resolution forums, including construction-related litigation, commercial landlord-tenant disputes, real estate brokerage disputes, partner/member/shareholder disputes, contract actions, restrictive covenants, trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property related disputes.

Associate Daniel Lavian received his J.D. degree from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad College of Law and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University. Law clerk Abraham Ally Dayon received his J.D. degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in May 2016 and earned a B.S. degree, summa cum laude, in Sports Management from St. John’s University.
