Montgomery McCracken Launches Insurance Recovery Practice Group

April 28, 2020

Montgomery McCracken announced today the launch of its Insurance Recovery Practice Group. The group has deep experience analyzing a host of insurance coverage issues and policy types.  While the members of the group bring their sophisticated understanding to a wide range of insurance coverages, they anticipate an immediate focus on employing strategies to secure coverage for the dramatic business interruption losses relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, even in the face of coverage exclusions that may on their face seem insurmountable.

“COVID-19 and the current shutdown present a dramatic challenge for which impacted businesses need relief,” said practice group co-chairs Joseph C. Monahan and Stephen G. Rhoads. “We have put together a team of multidisciplinary attorneys that understand the stress and uncertainty that comes with losses experienced during interruptions to everyday business operations and are here to help clients during this unprecedented time, and in the future.”

Group members include co-chairs Monahan and Rhoads, as well as partners Patrick C. Campbell, Charles B. Casper, Michael B. Hayes Jeffrey R. Lerman, and associates Brett M. Waldron and Jackson E. Warren.
