Montgomery McCracken Partner Gerald Corcoran Inducted into Shore Medical Center Governance Wall of Honor

Montgomery McCracken is pleased to announce that partner Gerald Corcoran of the firm’s Linwood, N.J. office has been inducted into Shore Medical Center’s Governance Wall of Honor. Corcoran has been involved with supporting the Center for more than 28 years and currently serves as chairman of the Center’s board of trustees. He and six additional current and former board members were honored for their combined 188 years of service and leadership at Shore Medical Center and were officially inducted into the Governance Wall of Honor during a ceremony held Monday, August 5 inside the hospital’s DiOrio Hall in Somers Point, N.J.
“The ongoing efforts of these dedicated community leaders have been instrumental in the continued success of Shore Medical Center,” said Center President and CEO Ron Johnson. “Their contributions have made an overwhelmingly positive impact on the care we provide to the community. I offer my sincere thanks for all that they have done and continue to do on behalf of Shore.”
Corcoran is a partner in Montgomery McCracken’s Litigation department and concentrates primarily in the area of civil litigation, with experience in both State and Federal Court. His civil litigation practice focuses on utility representation, defending pharmaceutical class action and mass tort matters and complex commercial cases.
In addition to his role as chairman of the board of trustees of Shore Medical Center, on which he has served as a member since 2001, Corcoran also serves as a member of the board of its parent company, Shore Memorial Health System. Additionally, he is a member of the board of trustees of Saint Joseph’s University and is a member of the American, New Jersey and Atlantic County Bar Associations. He is also actively involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Corcoran is a 1975 graduate of Dickinson Law School and graduated, magna cum laude, from Saint Joseph’s University in 1972.
