Serving as a United States magistrate judge from 1987 to 2006, Rosen has mediated thousands of cases, and presided over numerous civil jury and bench trials and criminal misdemeanor trials. He has negotiated multimillion dollar settlements and resolved all manner of complex cases and class actions in the areas of employment law, commercial law, environmental law, intellectual property, antitrust, admiralty, civil rights, construction law and torts.
