Montgomery McCracken Partner Timothy J. Bergère Named Chair of United States Law Firm Group Environmental Committee

PHILADELPHIA–Montgomery McCracken is pleased to announce that partner Timothy J. Bergère, chair of the firm’s Environmental and Energy Transaction practice, has been selected as the chair of the Environmental Committee of the United States Law Firm Group (USLFG). He will serve a two-year term effective immediately.
Bergère has been involved in all aspects of environmental counseling and litigation, has served as lead environmental counsel in numerous business, financial and real estate transactions and has extensive experience in environmental contamination investigation, remediation and Brownfields redevelopment projects. Prior matters have included the defense of clients in environmental matters involving fires and other thermal events. His practice concentrates on regulatory compliance matters and complex multiparty allocations. He also represents companies and individuals in civil and criminal enforcement matters under Pennsylvania and federal environmental statutes.
Bergère received his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law and is a graduate of New England College.
