Montgomery McCracken Welcomes Four Summer Associates

PHILADELPHIA – Montgomery McCracken is pleased to announce the addition of four summer associates to the firm. Carla Graff, Raul Mendez III, Mara I. Smith and Bianca A. Valcarce have joined the firm’s Philadelphia office.
Carla recently completed her second year as a law student at George Washington University Law School. She graduated cum laude from the University of Rochester in 2014 with a B.S. in International Relations and Legal Studies.
Raul recently completed his first year as a law student at Temple University Beasley School of Law. He earned an M.S. in Education and Social Change from the University of Miami in 2014 and graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in Crime, Law, and Justice and a Minor in Sociology. Raul is joining the firm through the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group (PDLG) Fellows Program. The firm is a founding member of the PDLG, and supports the organization’s commitment “to fostering participation of a more diverse group of lawyers in the Greater Philadelphia Region in order to make our legal profession stronger, more productive and better equipped to address the challenges of the 21st century.”
Mara rejoins the firm for a second summer term after completing her second year as a law student at Drexel University School of Law, where she concentrates on health law. She is a PDLG Fellows Program alumna. Mara graduated from the University of Scranton in 2013 with a B.S. in International Business and Minors in Philosophy and Spanish.
Bianca recently completed her first year as a law student at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and is interested in health law. She is also currently attending the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine with a focus on Bioethics. Bianca graduated from Reed College in 2015 with a B.A. in Psychology.
