Montgomery McCracken Welcomes Three Associates

Montgomery McCracken is pleased to announce the addition of three associates to the firm’s Philadelphia office. Elizabeth Catalano, Kacie E. Kergides, and Joseph E. Samuel have joined the Litigation Department.

Elizabeth recently graduated, magna cum laude, from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as a Student Works Editor on the Villanova Law Review as well as a Teaching Assistant. Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Elizabeth was a law clerk for a local Philadelphia law firm and a Certified Legal Intern in Villanova’s Health Law Clinic, where she represented clients in a Social Security Disability appeal hearing and counseled on guardianship issues. As a summer associate at Montgomery McCracken, Elizabeth participated as a Certified Legal Intern in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania’s Supervision to Aid Reentry Program (STAR), where she successfully represented a participant in traffic court proceedings.

Kacie earned her J.D. degree from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law where she was a Student Works Editor for the Villanova Law Review and a Jeffrey S. Moorad Center for the Study of Sports Law Legal Fellow to its Executive Director Andrew Brandt. Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Kacie was a Legal Extern in the compliance office at the University of Pennsylvania Athletics Department and a Legal Intern for the NBA Coaches Association.

Joe recently graduated, magna cum laude, from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. He was a member of the editorial board of the Villanova Law Review, completed a Litigation Concentration, and served as a teaching assistant for civil procedure, property, and legal writing.  Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken, Joseph was a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Elizabeth T. Hey in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He also worked as a Certified Legal Intern in Villanova University’s Federal Tax Clinic where he represented taxpayers in IRS assessment and collections matters, including cases before the United States Tax Court.
