Ashley Lynam to Speak on the “Motherhood Penalty”

On March 21, 2024, Chair Ashley Lynam will be speaking on a panel at the Chancellor’s-President’s Forum on “‘The Motherhood Penalty’ and Its Impact on the Legal Field.”
Ashley will join Roberta Liebenberg, Stephanie Scharf and Paulette Brown to discuss their new study, “Legal Careers of Parents and Child Caregivers: Results and Best Practices from a National Study of the Legal Profession.” The event will include a presentation by the study’s authors and a panel discussion on trends, personal experiences and potential best practices that could be implemented here in Philadelphia.
