The International Maritime Law Seminar is an annual event held in London each year to provide an in-depth analysis of one or two legal topics which are currently of importance to the marine industry. The speakers from the seminar are well-known attorneys from leading maritime firms around the world, and are assisted by moderators who are reputable and well-placed individuals in the marine insurance industry.

Since then, the group has expanded to include speakers from 14 countries across five continents. It has grown from a small seminar to one of the most widely anticipated and heavily attended London market legal seminars with attendance of more than 200 London insurance and maritime law specialists.

This year’s seminar has an expected 13 speakers from 12 countries, addressing recent developments in maritime law within their respective jurisdictions. Among others, there will be speakers from: United States, Mexico, Panama, Chile, Argentina, Spain, The Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, India and Japan. In addition to these presentations, there will also be a panel discussion featuring presentations from the top marine insurance representatives from the P&I Clubs and London Market.
