Law & Ethics: Board Roles and Responsibilities

Montgomery McCracken attorney Donald W. Kramer will be presenting at the Arts + Business Council of Greater Philadelphia’s (ABC) Business on Board program on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Don will be speaking on the program “Law & Ethics: Board Roles and Responsibilities.”  The presentation will address the fiduciary responsibilities of nonprofit board members (duty of care, duty of loyalty, duty of obedience); ethical considerations; employment/HR topics (especially relative to executive director or most senior staff member); awareness of changing external environment—regulatory issues, nonprofit liabilities, and essential policies to have in place.
