Pennsylvania Bar Institute: Internet Defamation

Jeremy D. Mishkin is once again serving as course planner and a member of the faculty for the upcoming Pennsylvania Bar Institute program on “Internet Defamation.”
The Internet has become a breeding ground for claims of defamation, and this course will cover both legal and practical aspects of how to handle such claims, both from the perspective of a potential plaintiff and that of a potential defendant. Mishkin has represented clients in defamation matters for more than 25 years, and his portion of the program will focus on the ramifications of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which has been called “the 26 words that created the Internet.”
This course offers 3 substantive CLE credits.
