Implementation and prospects of the New York Pay Transparency Law

New York City implemented the Payroll Transparency Act in November last year. In February of this year, New York State enacted a similar Payroll Transparency Act, requiring employers to disclose the salary ranges of advertised positions to current as well as new employees.
