Students suing Philadelphia universities for tuition refunds face ‘huge stumbling block’

Not long after colleges and universities across the country were forced to shift to virtual learning amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the lawsuits began.


One of the biggest challenges to John Myers, chair of Montgomery McCracken’s higher education practice group, is that students will likely have a hard time proving they sustained a measurable loss by finishing their semesters remotely.
