Patrick T. Ryan is Of Counsel in Montgomery McCracken’s Litigation Department. Pat’s practice emphasizes commercial litigation, antitrust matters, the defense of class actions and collective actions, the defense of professional liability claims, and business litigation involving claims asserted under the federal RICO statute.
Prior to joining Montgomery McCracken in 1983, Pat served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Joseph L. McGlynn, Jr., of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
He was active for many years (1985-91 and 1997-2001) in the firm's summer associate program, serving as co-chair of the summer program for several summers. From 1992 to 1994, he was one of the firm's hiring partners.
Pat graduated magna cum laude with an A.B. in History from Harvard College in 1979. As an undergraduate, he participated in the intercollegiate track and cross-country programs. He earned a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1982.
