2019 Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair

The LGBT Bar is holding its annual Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair from August 7-9 in Philadelphia. The event features “concurrent workshops, general attendance sessions and specialty programming designed for family law practitioners, transgender advocates, corporate counsel and those interested in pursuing a career as a member of the judiciary.” Montgomery McCracken Partner and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Alfred W. Zaher, will be speaking on Wednesday, August 7, at 10:45 a.m. Montgomery McCracken summer associate Jaleelah Abdulai will also be speaking on the panel. The presentation is titled, “A Comparative Discussion on the Intersectionality of American, Civil and Islamic Jurisprudences and its Impact on Everyday Life.”
