Implications and Handling of Sexual Harassment Complaints

Montgomery McCracken partner Frank A. Chernak spoke on Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management’s (SEPA SHRM) program “Implications and Handling of Sexual Harassment Complaints,” on January 16, 2018. The program addressed a range of matters from the employer and employee side.
Topics included (1) common employer action(s) or inaction(s), also known as “triggers,” creating a “plaintiff;” (2) best practices to minimize workplace disruption or legal exposure; (3) how to handle the sparks properly before they become an inferno; and (4) how to manage the most common sexual-harassment scenarios effectively.
Ari Karpf, a partner at Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti, P.C, also spoke on the program.
