Interested Persons’ Symposium: The Role of the University in the Title IX Rulemaking Process

Montgomery McCracken’s Institutional Response and Sexual Misconduct Liability attorneys Ashley R. Lynam and Kacie E. Kergides will present during a webinar titled, “Interested Persons’ Symposium: The Role of the University in the Title IX Rulemaking Process.” The informative webinar will review lessons learned during the past year of investigating, adjudicating, and advising in Title IX. The discussion will include:

  • Title IX under Trump-era rules
  • Anticipated Biden Administration changes following his March 8, 2021 Executive Order
  • An overview of the federal rulemaking process

Following the discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to share thoughts, ideas, and concerns in breakout rooms in preparation of formulating thoughtful Interested Persons submissions for public comment.

This program is open to Montgomery McCracken clients and prospective clients. There is no cost to attend. This program is not eligible for continuing education credits.
