Montgomery McCracken partner Tricia J. Sadd was a faculty member and speaker at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Agricultural Law Forum on November 4, 2016. Tricia presented “Defining the Waters of the U.S. Under the Clean Water Act,” where she discussed the regulatory scope of the CWA, including the new Clean Water Rule and related legal challenges.
Tricia combines an active litigation practice with a transactional and counseling practice to assist clients in a broad range of energy, environmental, real estate and technology matters. She regularly assists clients with environmental remediation issues and environmental due diligence for transactions. Tricia is certified by the U.S. Green Building Council as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional, or “LEED® AP.” The U.S. Green Building Council provides a suite of standards for environmentally sustainable construction. Tricia received her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from George Mason University School of Law, an M.A., with honors, from Bethany Theological Seminary and a B.A. from Messiah College.
Montgomery McCracken of counsel Laurie A. Krepto was the course planner. Laurie is a co-Vice Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Agricultural Law Committee. She is also Vice-President of Pennypack Farm & Education Center (PFEC), a community-supported agricultural farm located in Montgomery County and has been a member of PFEC for the last five years. Laurie has been practicing bankruptcy law and commercial litigation for over 20 years. She represents creditors, debtors, committees, and trustees in bankruptcy proceedings. Laurie received her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Temple University School of Law and a B.A. in Journalism, cum laude, from Temple University.
