PHILADELPHIA, PA – Montgomery McCracken is pleased to announce that on February 13, 2020, it was retained to represent the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the bankruptcy cases of API Americas, Inc. et al. pending in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The engagement is being led by partners Edward L. Schnitzer, Gilbert R. Saydah Jr., and Marc J. Phillips.
API Americas, Inc. and affiliated debtor API (USA) Holdings Limited filed for bankruptcy on February 2, 2020. The debtors, which manufacture foils, laminates, and holographic materials for customers in the premium drinks, confectionary, tobacco, perfume, personal care, cosmetics, and healthcare spaces, have announced plans to sell one or more of their business lines.
