Montgomery McCracken is pleased to welcome the addition of six summer associates to the firm. Jaleelah Abdulai, Zach Holdsman, Skyler Morgan, Jessica Rizzo, Patrick Smith, and Fiona Steele will be based in the firm’s Philadelphia office.
Jaleelah recently completed her second year as a law student at Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. She graduated from Duke University in May 2016 with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Chemistry.
Zach recently completed his first year as a law student at Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. He graduated from University of Maryland in May 2019 with a B.S. in Plant Science (Plant Biology) and minors in Sustainability and Technology Entrepreneurship.
Skyler recently completed her first year as a law student at The Pennsylvania State University, Penn State Law school. She received her M.A. in History from Mississippi State University in May 2017. Skyler graduated summa cum laude from Alabama State University in May 2015 with a B.S. in Social Sciences Education.
Jessica recently completed her second year as a law student at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She earned her D.F.A and M.F.A. in Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism from Yale School of Drama in 2017 and 2014, respectively. Jessica graduated from Bryn Mawr College in May 2011 with a B.A. in English and Theater.
Patrick recently completed his second year as a law student at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. He graduated from Cornell University in May 2018 with a B.S. in Biology and Social Studies and a minor in Law & Society Studies.
Fiona recently completed her second year as a law student at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. She graduated cum laude from Bryn Mawr College in May 2018 with a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy.
The Summer Associate Program at Montgomery McCracken offers a wide range of opportunities for accomplished law students to work on active cases that parallel their interests in varied litigation and business practices. Besides providing summer associates with opportunities to work on complex legal matters, Montgomery McCracken prides itself on providing a realistic foray into the legal world. Summer associates not only attend client meetings, depositions, and hearings, but work closely with existing clients on ongoing matters. They also participate in a unique business development program where the summer associates learn how to originate and develop client relationships early in their career. In addition, Montgomery McCracken has once again partnered with Judges Restrepo and Rice of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania to coordinate for its summer associates to participate in the Re-Entry Court Program, a pro bono initiative dedicated to representing indigent federal probationers. This summer the Re-Entry program will occur remotely.
