As noted by the editors, “This updated edition provides a current and perceptive examination of the attorney-client privilege and work-product doctrine. Written by a diverse and knowledgeable team of professionals, the book illustrates, and in many cases offers practical solutions to, the problems being addressed through the application and interpretation of these two core principles.  [T]his revised edition provides guidance for understanding and handling the many complexities of attorney-client privilege and confidential communication in the corporate setting.  Chapters in this practical guide are written by a team of professionals with diverse experience and background. The authors illustrate, and in many cases offer solutions to, those problems being addressed through the application and interpretation of the attorney-client privilege and the attorney work-product doctrine.
