Montgomery McCracken Teams with Exelon Corp. for Tree Planting Day of Service

Philadelphia–Montgomery McCracken attorneys and staff partnered with employees from Exelon Corporation on October 25 for the firm’s semiannual tree planting event at the Riverbend Environmental Education Center in Gladwyne, Pa. The event, which supported the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Green Ribbon Committee Day of Service Tree Planting Project, had more than 20 volunteers participating from Montgomery McCracken and Exelon Corp. Working together, volunteers planted 100 trees, purchased primarily with a grant from TreeVitalize, in Riverbend’s Woodland Restoration Area.
Partner Tricia Sadd, chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Green Ribbon Committee and chair of the firm’s Sustainable Business practice, as well as partner Timothy Bergère, chair of the firm’s Environmental Law practice, were among the participants. Other volunteers from Montgomery McCracken included partner Joseph Stapleton; associates Carolyn Pellegrini and Jonathan Perkins; and staff members Suzanne Burke, Whitney Coker, Timothy Lehman, Elizabeth Mell and Lisa Utsey.
